The basic process for our Windscreens:

Aluminium frame assemblies such as MGB, Midget and Healey:

​

• The alloy frames are dismantled and stripped of all the original anodising

• 99% of the marks are removed (we cannot guarantee all marks will be lifted)

• The frame is anodised (original finish) and all damage threads Heli coiled

• The frame is then rebuilt using new laminated glass, glazing seals, screen to body seals, pad seals and screen to quarter light seals

• All new stainless steel screws and rivets are used and a new mirror rod fitted

• All the screen hood anchor clamps and rod brackets are chromed

• The screen is sealed internally and ready to bolt straight onto the vehicle

Chrome on brass frames such as MGA, Healey, Morgan, “T” Types & most pre war:

​

• The frames are dismantled, all the old chrome is removed and most marks polished out, If any extra filling of holes or heavy wear areas is required, this will be charged extra.

• The brass is re-chromed

• New corners, hood pegs and tapping plates are used when available (or old ones refurbished)

• New laminated glass is fitted with the correct WPDS seals (not foam as is supplied by all the larger parts outlets)

• Badges, side mountings, hood hooks etc. are all fitted if required
